CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENTS

The confirmation of itineraries must take place within 30 days of departure with a 30% deposit on the total confirmation.
The balance of 70% within 20 days before departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation between 14 and 8 days before departure: 50% refund.
Cancellation from 7 days before departure: no refund.

ITINERARY

1st DAY SUNDAY - VALDERA VAL DI CECINA

We meet at 9.30 am in Prato to get to know each other and collect the bikes. First stop in Peccioli, voted the best Italian village in 2024 which hosts an open-air museum with works by various artists. We arrive in Volterra, known for its alabaster production and the location of some scenes from the famous Twilight saga, where we stop for a lunch break. We get back on the saddle heading towards Castelnuovo Val di Cecina where a welcoming farmhouse will be waiting for us to spend the night and stay for dinner.

2nd DAY MONDAY - MAREMMA MINING AREA

Departure at 9.30 am for the mining Maremma with its fabulous mines and steaming lands. First stop in Massa Marittima in the heart of the Metalliferous Hills and lunch break in Montepescali.
Departure towards Scansano, located in the heart of the Grosseto Maremma in a beautiful panoramic position and overnight stay in Manciano where a tasty dinner will be waiting for us.

3rd DAY TUESDAY - MAREMMA TUFO AREA

Departure at 9.30 am. Direction Pitigliano, also known as “the Little Jerusalem” because since 1500 it hosted a large Jewish community, and is today one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, up to Sorano where we will have a lunch break and experience the typical traditions of this area of the Tuscan tuff. We will depart towards Bolsena where we will stop for the night.

4th DAY WEDNESDAY - TUSCIA

Departure at 9.30 am towards Tuscia, an ancient name attributed to Etruria after the end of Etruscan domination, passing through Civita di Bagno Regio, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and famous for having been defined as “the dying city” by writer Bonaventura Tecchi who spent his youth there. Arrival in Monterubaglio for the lunch break and departure towards San Casciano dei Bagni for the overnight stay.

5th DAY THURSDAY - VAL D'ORCIA

Departure at 9:30 am for the Val d’Orcia passing through Radicofani and Pienza up to San Quirico d’Orcia famous for its cypress trees depicted in souvenirs and postcards where we will enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch. Departure towards Bagno Vignoni, a typical city for its thermal waters and the “square of the springs”, a rectangular pool, of sixteenth-century origin, which contains a spring of hot and steaming thermal water. We will head to Buonconvento for dinner and an overnight stay.

6th DAY FRIDAY - CRETE SENESI CHIANTI

We will depart at 9.30 am towards Crete Senesi, called this way because of the clay present in the soil which gives the landscape its characteristic grey-blue colour. We will visit Castelnuovo Berardenga and stop in Radda in Chianti for the lunch break.
In the afternoon we will arrive in Greve in Chianti with its shops and typical shops where we will stop for dinner and overnight stay.

7th DAY SATURDAY - CHIANTI

Departure at 9:30 am. In the morning we will concentrate on the typical Chianti area with its vineyards and the typical Tuscan landscape. The first stop will be in Montefioralle and the lunch break at Panzano in Chianti. After the characteristic Tuscan lunch and its tasty and well-known wines, we will depart for Prato with arrival expected around 4.15 pm.
