Our weekly tour of Tuscany on Indian motorbikes SEA AND TRADITIONS is the ideal experience for lovers of relaxation traditions and the sea. On this fantastic tour, you will discover the beautiful Apuan Alps with their typical caves and villages immersed in nature towards the Versilia Sea between the characteristic city of Pietrasanta and the enchanting Peccioli. You will discover the Etruscan Coast overlooking the crystalline sea and the Tuscan Maremma where you will taste excellent typical wines of the region. You will return to Prato after experiencing the most typical areas of the Tuscan tradition such as Volterra, Monteriggioni and Siena.

CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENTS

The confirmation of itineraries must take place within 30 days of departure with a 30% deposit on the total confirmation.
The balance of 70% within 20 days before departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation between 14 and 8 days before departure: 50% refund.
Cancellation from 7 days before departure: no refund.

PROGRAMMA

1st DAY SUNDAY - LUNIGIANA

We meet at 9.30 am in Prato to get to know each other and collect the bikes. Departure towards Lunigiana, the heart of the Apuan Alps, passing through Montecatini Alto and Bagni di Lucca where we will stop for the lunch break. Departure at 3.45 pm for the first stop in Castelnuovo Garfagnana, typical for its trout farms and overnight stay in the fantastic Seravezza.

2nd DAY MONDAY - PISA HILLS

Departure at 9:30 am for the characteristic city of Pietrasanta up to Camaiore, a town immediately behind the Versilia coast Sea. Lunch break in Lucca, a city with historic walls a true Tuscan jewel. We will head towards Peccioli, voted the best Italian village in 2024 which hosts an open-air museum with works by various artists we will drive up to Lajatico where we will stop for the night.

3rd DAY TUESDAY - ETRUSCAN COAST

Departure at 9.30 am towards the wonderful and historic Etruscan Coast, a strip of Tuscany nestled between golden beaches and green hills. Lunch break in Montescudaio and departure towards Bibbona, passing through Bolgheri, home of some of the most famous wines in the world such as Ornellaia and Sassicaia, up to the crystal clear sea of Castagneto Carducci for an overnight stay.

4th DAY WEDNESDAY - MAREMMA TUSCANY

Departure at 9.30 am towards Suvereto with its famous city walls built between the 11th and 14th centuries. Arrival in Piombino, a historic town overlooking the sea and famous for the port that connects Tuscany to the islands. After the lunch break, we will depart for Massa Marittima in the heart of the Metalliferous Hills and overnight stay in Monterotondo.

5th DAY THURSDAY - VALDERA

Departure at 9.30 am for Castelnuovo Val di Cecina and, passing through Pomarance, we arrive in Volterra, known for its alabaster production as well as the location of some scenes of the famous Twilight saga, where we stop for the lunch break. We get back on the saddle heading towards San Gimignano where a characteristic farmhouse awaits us for an overnight stay and dinner.

6th DAY FRIDAY - CRETE SENESI VAL D'ELSA

Departure at 9.30 am towards Crete Senesi, called like that because of the clay ( creta in italian) present in the soil which gives the landscape its characteristic grey-blue colour. We will visit medieval Monteriggioni and stop in Siena, famous for its traditional Palio, for a lunch break. We will depart to San Quirico d’Orcia, known for its cypress trees depicted in souvenirs and postcards where we will stay overnight.

7th DAY SATURDAY - VAL D'ORCIA

Departure at 9:30 am. Direction Pienza, whose historic centre was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1996. After the stop, we will head towards Asciano for the lunch break and then we will travel along one of the most beautiful streets of the CRETE SENESI. We will then depart and return to Prato in the afternoon.
