Our weekly tour of Tuscany on an Indian MEDIEVAL TOSCANO motorbike is the perfect experience for lovers of wellness and medieval villages of which Tuscany is the undisputed leader! This exciting motorbike trip is the ideal way to explore one of the most enchanting regions in the world, Tuscany, passing through the wonderful landscape of Chianti and exploring enchanting villages such as Cortona, Pienza, Volterra, Certaldo and Vinci, the historic Leonardo Da Vinci genius birthplace. CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENTS

The confirmation of itineraries must take place within 30 days of departure with a 30% deposit on the total confirmation.
The balance of 70% within 20 days before departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation between 14 and 8 days before departure: 50% refund.
Cancellation from 7 days before departure: no refund.

SCHEDULE

1st DAY SUNDAY - CHIANTI

We meet at 9.30 am in Prato to get to know each other and collect the bikes. The first stop will be in Impruneta, after which we will cross the panoramic roads arriving at the medieval village of Montefioralle up to Greve in Chianti for lunch and to relax. We will jump back in the saddle passing through Panzano, and get to Radda. The day will end in Gaiole in Chianti, where a welcoming farmhouse awaits us.

2nd DAY MONDAY - VALTIBERINA VALDICHIANA

Departure at 9.30 am towards Anghiari, a town famous for being the scene of the battle between Milanese and Florentines later depicted by Leonardo da Vinci, where we will have a tasty lunch break and set off again towards Castel Fiorentino until we reach the charming medieval town of Cortona, in the heart of Valdichiana, where the final location will host us for dinner and an overnight stay.

3rd DAY TUESDAY - VAL D'ORCIA

Departure at 9.30 am. We head towards the medieval village of Montepulciano where we will make a stop. We will depart towards Pienza and San Quirico d’Orcia famous for its cypress trees depicted in souvenirs and postcards. We will stay in the area to have a lovely traditional Tuscan lunch. In the afternoon, passing through Bagni San Filippo, we arrive at Abbadia San Salvatore for dinner and an overnight stay.

4th DAY WEDNESDAY - MAREMMA TUFO AREA

Departure at 9.30 am towards Sorano and Pitigliano, also known as “the Little Jerusalem” hosting a large Jewish community since 1500 bc, today one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Departure towards Manciano up to the village of Scansano where the hospitality of a typical farmhouse in the Tuscan Maremma will be waiting for us.

5th DAY THURSDAY - MAREMMA METALLIFEROUS HILLS

Departure at 9.30 am for Paganico up to Roccastrada, a village built on a rocky spur, the trachyte, typical of the area, thus entering the heart of the metalliferous hills of the Maremma. We continue to Massa Marittina for lunch at Chiudino, a wonderful medieval village where the famous Abbey of San Galgano is located, near the Sword in the Stone we will then spend the night stay at Radicondoli.

6th DAY FRIDAY - VAL D'ELSA

Departure at 9.30 am towards Casole d’Elsa up to Volterra, known for its alabaster production and the location of some scenes from the famous Twilight saga, where we will stop for the lunch break. Departure for San Gimignano also known as the Manhattan of the Middle Ages for its famous towers, an ancient medieval village whose walls date back to the year one thousand. Overnight stay in the fantastic village of Certaldo.

7th DAY SATURDAY - LOWER VALDARNO

Departure at 9.30 am towards Castelfiorentino, nestled among the green Tuscan hills, and immediately afterwards to Vinci, the Leonardo Da Vinci birthplace village where the famous museum dedicated to the genius of the arts is located. Lunch break and departure for Prato, the destination of arrival. Alternatively, return to Prato from Certaldo.
